Opening day
So we had our (understated) launch day this weekend.
Disappointingly we had no turnout whatsoever for the free intro sessions. This leads me to believe that we're doing something wrong trying to convince people to come down for the first time. If you're reading this and haven't been down to train with us yet, I would love to hear from you with ideas on what would seal the deal. I know that what we are doing is valuable, fun and accessible... but people have to come down to experience it.
Answers on the back of an email please. : )
The afternoon clinch workshop went well. We had a good turnout from the core group and we got everyone playing with some new material. We focussed on more of the Greco-roman game for the session and after plenty of drilling time everyone was looking good.
Good to see David C back on the mat after recovering from a foot injury picked up playing football. These things happen when you play dangerous sports like that.
